We have some exciting news!

Kathy and John are thrilled to share a major milestone in the journey of our practice - we’re rebranding and relocating! This change reflects our growth, our evolving vision and our continued commitment to delivering exceptional service.

From 1st September, the firm you've known as Dewings will become Trellis.

This is an evolution rather than a revolution. Our new moniker reflects the commitment we have established over many years to helping our clients with structure and support for their businesses.

We remain driven by the original purpose that we were founded on - to provide big firm technical expertise with small firm personal service and accessibility.

Over the past 40 years, we’ve grown not just in size, but in purpose. In that time the business landscape has changed considerably. And so has our industry. Our new brand captures the essence of a contemporary firm, providing modern, creative solutions to complex problems. It reflects some of what we have always done, some of what we have become, and a little of what we hope to be. 

Where will we be?
Our new space is also designed to serve this purpose better. Our facilities have improved and our work environment is more collaborative. From 1st September you'll find us in our new digs at:

Parking
There's both Trellis-signed and visitor parking available underneath the building (this was important to us when looking for a new site) and the building is almost on a corner, so you can also park in the nearby side street for up to four hours.

Communications
Our phone numbers won't change.

You'll also continue to work with the same people. We will have new email addresses, but the old ones will continue to work for some time, so you won't need to rush out and update your email contacts just yet. We'll provide more information about all that in the coming months.

You may notice some overlap between the two brands as we work to transition from one to the other. Please bear with us, and reach out to reception or your current Dewings team member if you have any questions or notice anything unusual.

What about Phil?
As a part of this change, Phil Dewing - our founder and namesake for the last 40 years - will be taking the next step in his professional journey, by moving to work as a dedicated consultant and advisor in his own name. This has been Phil's passion for decades and this change allows him to focus more keenly on what he does best.

For those of you who have worked with him as a partner for Dewings, very little will change. He will continue to do as he has always done and provide you with the guidance and specialty advice you are used to, while working with Trellis for any compliance that may be required - that's the accounting and lodgement of tax returns.
